One was Big Daddy, Lt. Snyder, Father Hubley, Les, Dr. Harlan Elldridge, Francis Griffin and Michael Gavin.
The deaths of two of my favorite actors – on the same day, no less – would have been sadder if they both hadn’t lives such long, fruitful and extraordinary lives up until the very end, cementing themselves into the consciousness of pop culture for eternity, with resumes that have far outreached even those cherished memories.
So, I’ll simply say Rest In Peace, Jack Klugman and Charles Durning – two mega-talents for the ages. (Click on their photos of their NY Times obits.)
